I&#8217;m insanely curious about what it actually is. I found it on the beach yesterday, and it&#8217;s pretty unusual- most marine debris on this beach is along the lines of plastic bags, sunglasses, hats, shoes, kids toys, and food\/drink packaging with the occasional bits of fishing or crabbing kit. This does not appear to fall into any of those categories. I&#8217;ve appealed to Twitter, but so far, nada.
